Maverex assess methods and data used to identify economic evidence (NICE)
The UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) require comprehensive systematic reviews (SRs) of clinical and cost-effectiveness evidence to inform company submissions to the Single Technology Appraisal (STA) process for drug reimbursement.
STA submissions should be up-to-date, well-conducted and follow robust methods. Approaches and resources employed to identify economic evidence varies considerably across submissions.
Maverex conducted a study to assess the search methods and databases used to identify economic evidence within NICE STA submissions in the public domain.
This research was presented at ISPOR 2024.
